About The Position
Assisting Hands Deerfield is hiring caregivers/CNAs to provide in-home care to clients in the Lake County area. The role includes companionship and assistance with personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Shifts are available on weekdays and weekends, including morning and daytime shifts. The employer describes the team as supportive and offers 24/7 support, weekly pay, bonus and referral programs, and growth opportunities. Starting pay is $19 to $22 per hour. Hours over 40 and hours worked on holidays are paid at time and a half. Immediate start is available.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Comfortable helping both male and female clients.
- Experience helping with personal care.
- No restrictions concerning type of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, including conversation, playing games, and watching TV with clients.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide medication reminders.
