About The Position
Assisting Hands Deerfield is hiring caregivers/CNAs in the Lake County area for flexible morning and daytime shifts. The role involves assisting clients with companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Immediate start is available. Shifts are available on weekdays and weekends, and hours over 40 and hours worked on holidays are paid at time and a half. The position offers starting pay of $19 to $22 per hour, weekly pay, and support from a 24/7 team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Comfort helping both male and female clients.
- Experience helping with personal care.
- No restrictions concerning type of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship through conversation, games, and watching TV.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide medication reminders.
