About The Position

Assisting Hands Deerfield is hiring a Caregiver/CNA to provide compassionate, dependable in-home assistance to clients. The role includes companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Morning, daytime, and overnight shifts are available, including weekday and weekend shifts. Some listed schedules include Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:20 PM; Monday/Tuesday/Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM; Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; and Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Immediate start is available. The position pays $19.50 to $22.00 per hour, with time-and-a-half pay for hours over 40 and hours worked on holidays.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comfort assisting both male and female clients.
• Experience helping with personal care.
• No restrictions concerning the type of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through conversation, games, and watching television.
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals.
