About The Position

Join Amada Senior Care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and veterans by providing compassionate, non-medical, in-home care in your community. We are looking for dedicated caregivers who are willing to travel to surrounding areas. You will provide companionship and emotional support while helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Care may include assistance with personal care, bathing and dressing, medication reminders, mobility and transfers, appointments, meal preparation, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, errands, and other daily living activities. You may also observe and report unusual incidents while providing dependable, compassionate support to each client.

Requirements

• 2+ years of caregiving experience required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel within a 25-mile radius of your home.
• Compassionate, dependable, professional, and committed to providing excellent care.
• Comfortable working with both male and female clients.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Able to perform all essential job duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care, bathing and dressing.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Accompany clients to appointments.
• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
