About The Position
Assisting Hands Deerfield is hiring a Caregiver/CNA for companionship cases. The role involves providing companionship and assistance with personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Twelve-hour shifts are available, including daytime and overnight shifts, with weekday and weekend opportunities. Immediate start is offered. Starting pay is $19.50 to $22 per hour; hours over 40 and hours worked on holidays are paid at time and a half.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Comfortable helping both male and female clients.
- Experience assisting with personal care.
- No restrictions concerning the type of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship through conversation, playing games, and watching TV.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide medication reminders.
