About The Position

At Home Healthcare is hiring a Caregiver/CNA to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients in Clarksville, Tennessee. The role involves helping clients with activities they are not fully able to complete independently, household tasks, meals, mobility, and companionship. Training necessary for certification is provided at no cost, including for candidates with no prior experience. Pay is $16–$20 per hour. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Know about, or be willing to learn about, housekeeping, cooking, and personal care services.
Adhere to health, safety, confidentiality, and other company standards.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and have the physical capability to perform job-related duties.
Demonstrate the ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Be supportive, compassionate, and respectful of all persons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including ambulation, dressing, personal care and hygiene, eating, and visiting friends.
Help clients move around the home or outside, including to appointments and on walks.
Plan and prepare meals and, in some cases, assist clients with serving and eating them.
Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while they shop.
Perform light housekeeping duties clients cannot complete independently.
Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
Report unusual incidents to the office immediately.
