About The Position
Caring Senior Service is hiring dependable and compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs throughout the Corpus Christi area. If you have caregiving experience and enjoy helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home, we would like to hear from you. We have a variety of schedules available and are looking for caregivers interested in daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, PRN, and extended-shift opportunities. Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Dependable attendance and professional communication
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, and PCA experience is welcomed but not required for every position. Additional training is available.
- Experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, memory care, dementia care, hospice, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, or private-duty caregiving is especially valuable.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and social interaction
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Helping with walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers
- Providing toileting and incontinence assistance
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating
- Providing medication reminders
- Completing light housekeeping and laundry
- Assisting with errands and transportation
- Accompanying clients to appointments
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
- Protecting each client's privacy, dignity, and independence
- Communicating with clients, families, and the Caring Senior Service team
- Documenting care provided during each shift
