About The Position

Manages Career Trade Instructors, analyzes training procedures, and counsels groups and individuals relative to vocational objectives. Develops Corrective Action Plans and ensures the integration of vocational training with academics. Conducts regular shop visitations/observations, writes and develops SOPs and Center Training Plans, and attends scheduled meetings with the Center Industry Councils. Actively participates as a member of the Youth Council, maintains required statistical performance, and reviews Center reports, reconciling as appropriate. Meets bi-monthly with vocational staff, ensuring accurate minutes, and meets jointly with academic and vocations to plan Applied Academics. Reviews attendance sheets for accuracy, notes trends or patterns, and establishes appropriate plans of action/discipline. Ensures all custodians/locations complete 3 quarterly inventories per the Property Handbook and that any theft or losses are reported within 3 business days. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university required.
  • Valid State driver’s license

  • Inventories completed as circumstances dictate, i.e. When custodian changes, etc.
  • Ensures any theft or other losses are reported within 3 business days.
