The Kenneth G. Dixon Career Development Center (DCDC) advances student success by connecting UCF students with career development resources, meaningful experiences, employers, and opportunities that support their transition from college to career. Through career education, experiential learning, recruiting programs, graduate and professional school preparation, and partnerships across the university and employer community, the DCDC helps students explore career possibilities, build career readiness skills, and connect with opportunities. Employer Relations and Industry Partnerships serves as the primary bridge between DCDC and the employer community, cultivating relationships that expand internships, employment opportunities, and industry engagement for students. The UCF Lockheed Martin College Work Experience Program (CWEP) is housed within UCF Career Services and provides undergraduate and graduate students with year-round, paid opportunities to gain hands-on professional experience aligned with their academic and career goals. For more than 40 years, UCF and Lockheed Martin have partnered through CWEP to help students develop real-world skills and experience while contributing to meaningful work within the organization. The Career Services Coordinator provides comprehensive program support for CWEP, supporting students throughout the employment lifecycle, program marketing and recruiting, maintaining accurate student and program records, conducting marketing and recruiting activities, and supporting the administrative processes necessary for the effective operation of CWEP.
