Requirements

In training and developing foundational NDT inspection skills.
Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected.
Ability to achieve appropriate NDE certifications within 6 months.
Under supervision of a Level II or III Certified NDT Inspector.
Ability to read, comprehend and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate customer portals, enter NDT reports, and use Microsoft Teams and chat tools.

Responsibilities

Makes visual and measured inspection of products the majority of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements.
May inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process.
May apply singular or multiple inspection processes using various appropriate NDE methods.
Able to maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment.
Completes inspection records and prepares accurate reports.
Familiar with appropriate codes, regulations, applicable procedures & standards.
Follows all safety rules, policies and work practices.
May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
