About The Position

Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor and with guidance from the Responsible Level 3, this position is responsible for the production and interpretation of radiographic images of tube assemblies or castings, for dimensional inspection, flaw detection, or presence of foreign material. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • NAS-410 requirements for Trainee, Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to utilize applicable computer software programs.
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning and problem solving skills.
  • Verifies and maintains accuracy of routers and other applicable documents for completeness.
  • Be safety-minded and follow all company policies, safety policies & procedures, and practice safe work habits.
  • Attend all meetings and trainings as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately reads and follows X-ray film or digital techniques to produce quality images.
  • Follows set radiation safety procedures for personnel and area monitoring.
  • Performs system checks as required.
  • Passes certification requirements to NAS-410 and Titeflex procedures.
  • Follows procedures in the techniques for which certified.
  • Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
