About The Position
BCIT is seeking a dedicated Hourly Career Major Tutor in the area of Construction Trades. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (required), with some college coursework preferred, and relevant vocational certification or work experience in the HVAC and construction trades. This individual must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for supporting student success in hands-on, career-focused education.
Requirements

- Vocational certificate and/or relevant training or work experience in Construction Trades
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to support students individually and in small groups

- Some college credits (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with assigned instructors to support student learning
- Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to reinforce course content and practical skills
- Help students strengthen their understanding of the HVAC & construction-related careers
