About The Position

The Edinburg Center is seeking a passionate, relationship-focused, and team-oriented Career Coordinator for Potter Place Clubhouse. This role involves helping individuals achieve meaningful employment and educational goals by coordinating and overseeing all Career Services, building partnerships with local employers, and supporting members in their pursuits. The ideal candidate believes in the power of recovery, community integration, and person-centered support, thriving in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field required
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with adults living with mental health challenges
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license required
  • Strong communication, organizational, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and person-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in a Fountain House Model Certified Clubhouse with Transitional Employment and Supported Education programs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all Career Services within Potter Place Clubhouse, including Transitional Employment (TE), Supported Employment (SE), and Independent Employment (IE) initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local employers to expand employment opportunities for members
  • Support members in identifying, pursuing, and achieving their employment and educational goals
  • Provide oversight, training, and support to Transitional Employment placement managers
  • Maintain employment databases and track career services outcomes
  • Coordinate monthly Career Dinners, weekly employment workshops, and annual employer recognition events
  • Collaborate with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC), Department of Mental Health (DMH), Employment Specialists, and other community partners
  • Develop new employer relationships through networking, outreach, and community engagement
  • Participate in Saturday Social and holiday coverage on a rotating basis with other Clubhouse coordinators
  • Work closely with the Clubhouse leadership team to develop innovative career services and employment initiatives
  • Complete required documentation, reports, and administrative responsibilities in accordance with program standards
