The Career Services Coordinator develops and delivers customized instruction on job search strategies, career trends, and workplace success through various formats including seminars, workshops, designated classes, and presentations. This role involves communicating with students and alumni about employment opportunities, program offerings, employer recruiting events, and career trends. The coordinator will also market students, academic programs, and university services to prospective employers, identify employment opportunities, establish new employer recruiting partnerships, and support university corporate outreach. Ensuring positive and effective university and employer recruiting partnerships, participating in employer hiring strategy development and recruiting activities, and partnering with various university divisions to support initiatives in admissions, alumni relations, global partnerships, research development, and institutional fundraising are key aspects of this role. Additionally, the coordinator will counsel students on the employment process and related issues. This position supports the College of Art and Design (CAD), College of Liberal Arts (COLA), College of Science (COS), College of Health Sciences & Technology (CHST), and School of Individualized Study (SOIS) within a shared Career Service Model.
