Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., HR, psychology, business, sociology, or education).
• Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, or talent development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with career development tools, platforms, and techniques (e.g., LinkedIn optimization, resume building, ATS systems).
• A minimum of 1-2+ years of professional experience in career coaching, recruitment, HR, talent development, or a related field.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment without needing micromanagement.
• Willingness to put in extra effort to meet deadlines, support clients, and contribute to team success.
• Openness to feedback and continuous improvement of coaching techniques.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in career coaching a plus.
• Experience with specialized coaching (e.g., career transitions, tech industry, expat coaching).
• Knowledge of local job markets, particularly in Northern California.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized career coaching to clients across Career Hub, Career Precursor, and Nurtured Excellence programs.
• Leverage proven strategies, techniques, and methods to help clients improve their resumes, job applications, interview skills, and overall career strategies.
• Create tailored career development plans that address client goals, barriers, and skill gaps.
• Assist clients in job searching, resume building, LinkedIn optimization, and preparing for interviews.
• Design and facilitate engaging workshops on topics like career transitions, networking, and upskilling.
• Conduct regular progress check-ins, assess outcomes, and refine strategies as needed to ensure client success.
• Work with the Career EQ Hub team to enhance program offerings, innovate new solutions, and maintain high-quality client experiences.
• Stay updated on industry trends and bring fresh, creative approaches to career coaching.
