The Career Center Coordinator leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Central Carolina Community College's Career Services initiatives. The Coordinator enhances students' career readiness by providing career coaching, facilitating employer partnerships, coordinating workforce development programming, and managing career-related events that connect students and alumni with employment opportunities. The Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the College and regional employers, workforce agencies, and community partners to strengthen career pathways that support student success and regional economic development. This position reports to the Associate Vice President of Student Engagement and serves students across the College's Chatham, Harnett, and Lee County campuses. This position may have occasional travel between campuses and for training. Occasional after hours may be required. Some evening and weekend work may be required for departmental events and meetings. Office environment located on a CCCC campus. Frequent interaction with students, faculty, and staff. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (event materials, supplies).
