The role requires professionally managing career assessment, vocational counseling, job placement, and other social services offered at the local American Job Center in conformity with Department of Labor laws and regulations, prioritizing services for veterans and other special-needs applicants. Excellent customer-service skills are essential to ensure optimal results and maintain a conducive office environment. Assistance with receptionist duties, participation in team meetings and staff-required training, and utilization of office machinery are also part of the responsibilities.
