About The Position
Care Worker – At Home Services Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older Australians? Do you enjoy helping people with everyday activities? As a Care Worker supporting clients across Albany and surrounds. You will be required to travel between multiple client locations throughout these service areas as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. You will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives. We're seeking someone available to work up to 50 hours per fortnight, between Wednesday to Saturday.
Requirements
- Unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients
- Strong communication skills
- Resilience and patience
- Proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email
- Caring nature
- Genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone’s day
Responsibilities
