This is a Part-Time position (48 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour DAY shift located at our Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider
Nice To Haves
- Multiple patient care skills preferred.
- Prefer one year experience in health care related field, sterile processing, patient transport or equivalent responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care.
- Support the unit with a variety of clerical, patient logistic, equipment/supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties.
- Assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
- Assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and maintains a safe, organized environment.
