About The Position

As a Care Team Assistant, you will provide excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team. You will assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collect data, and ensure the patient has a safe, organized environment. You will assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician. You will also support the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties. This is a Full-Time position (80 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour VARIED shift located at our Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas. Requirements

Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider

Nice To Haves

Multiple patient care skills preferred.
Prefer one year experience in health care related field, sterile processing, patient transport or equivalent responsibilities.
