This position functions as the support for the CHRIS Counseling Center for all consumers and families. The primary duties include but are not limited to providing positive role-modeling, promoting self-esteem, healthy boundaries, and socially acceptable behaviors. The role also involves demonstrating customer service, maintaining a pleasant disposition, and working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include responding to consumer, referral, and peer needs promptly, handling telephone calls and emails, and responding to stakeholder requests for information. The coordinator will also make necessary referrals to meet consumer needs, verify and update patient information, act as a liaison, and collaborate with other programs and providers within the CHRIS 180 continuum to ensure the best care for consumers. Specific services include demonstrating exceptional engagement skills in providing trauma-focused mental health treatment, answering a multi-phone system, completing Triage forms, scheduling assessments and evaluations, verifying insurance, and initiating new consumers in the electronic health record.
