Care Partner 6am-6pm $19-24 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Kentridge. This full-time position offers a pay range of $19 - $24 per hour and involves a 12-hour shift schedule (6:00 am to 6:00 pm) on a rotating basis. As a Care Partner, you will be an "Advocate of Empathy," creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. You will also be a "Generous Gift Giver," being present and sharing your talents to be a reliable team member. The role requires you to be "đź’Ż," fostering an inclusive and positive environment by investing wholeheartedly in your work, team members, and the community. A key responsibility is being "Proactive" in assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Foster an inclusive and positive environment.
- Engage in personal development and training within the organization.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
