About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Boulevard St Peters. This full-time position involves providing direct care and support to residents, ensuring their well-being and fostering human connection. The role emphasizes empathy, active listening, and a proactive approach to assisting residents with their daily living activities. We are looking for individuals who are committed to creating a positive and inclusive environment, are eager to learn and grow, and genuinely love working with seniors.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
• Be present, share talents, and be a reliable team member.
• Create an inclusive and positive environment by investing wholeheartedly in work, team members, and the community.
• Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in personal development, growth, and training.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
