About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Cedar Trails in Freeburg, IL. This full-time position involves providing essential daily living assistance to residents, fostering human connection, and contributing to a positive and inclusive environment. The role emphasizes empathy, generosity, whole-hearted investment in work and community, and continuous personal and professional development. As a Care Partner, you will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for our residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their vulnerable moments.
- Be present and share talents, being a reliable team member.
- Create an inclusive and positive environment.
- Be curious and ask questions to find out information.
- Engage in personal development, growth, and training.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
