About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Parkway located at 550 NE Napoleon Drive, Blue Springs, MO 64014. This part-time position focuses on creating human connection with residents, assisting them with daily living activities, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. We are looking for individuals who are empathetic, reliable, engaged in their personal growth, and proactive in their approach to resident care. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic computer skills.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Be present and reliable for residents and team members.
- Invest with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
- Be curious, ask questions, and engage in personal development, growth, and training.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
