About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at University Living in Ann Arbor, MI. This part-time role involves providing essential support and creating meaningful connections with residents, particularly during their vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Be present and share talents.

Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Assist persons after a fall.
