About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Barrymore located at 8400 N Marston Ave, Kansas City, MO 64154. This full-time position involves providing direct care and creating human connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with activities of daily living. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, computer skills, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and frequently lift/move items up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and support them after falls. Arrow Senior Living is committed to promoting from within and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
  • Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Criminally cleared.
