About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to join our team at Vitalia Senior Residences in Strongsville, Ohio. This part-time role involves creating human connections with residents, assisting them with activities of daily living, and fostering a positive environment. We are looking for individuals who are empathetic, reliable, engaged in their development, and proactive in assisting residents. The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a starting wage of $18-$20 per hour for the Thursday/Friday 7:00 pm-7:00 am shift.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Be present and reliable for residents and team members.
  • Invest with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
  • Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in your development, growth, and training.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Assist persons after a fall.
