About The Position

We are looking for someone to be an “Advocate of Empathy,” responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments. You will be “Proactive” with assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Creating an inclusive and positive environment.
  • Assisting residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Assisting persons after a fall.
