About The Position

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a third-shift Caregiver/Resident Assistant to provide direct care and assist residents with their nightly activities. The role involves supporting residents with personal care and mobility needs, maintaining care records, reporting changes in residents’ conditions, and communicating effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successfully complete training as required by State regulations.
Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
Ability to work responsibly both as a team member and independently.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
Honesty, fairness, dependability, and respect for confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
Must meet all health requirements and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility, and incontinence care.
Keep proper care records.
Report changes in residents’ conditions.
Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
