About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to join our team at Vitalia Mentor. This part-time role involves creating human connections with residents, assisting them with daily living activities, and contributing to a positive and inclusive environment. We value empathy, presence, and a proactive approach to resident care. The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have strong communication skills in English, and be comfortable with physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Computer skills are also necessary for documentation.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Be present and share talents to foster a positive work environment.
- Invest with whole heart in work, team members, and community.
- Be curious, ask questions, and engage in personal development, growth, and training.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
