About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to join our team at Rock Creek in Ankeny, IA. This part-time role focuses on creating human connections with residents, providing empathetic care, and contributing to a positive and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, engaged in their development, and possesses a genuine love for working with seniors. Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Be present and share talents to be a reliable team member.
Create an inclusive and positive environment.
Be curious and ask questions to foster development and training.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Assist persons after a fall.
