Care Partner 6am-6pm $19-24 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Kentridge. This role is crucial in creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments, embodying empathy, generosity, and a wholehearted investment in the community. The Care Partner will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, engaged in their development, and possess a positive and energetic attitude to create an inclusive and positive environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
