About The Position
As a Caregiver/Resident Assistant, you will provide direct care to residents and assist with their daily activities. Care includes bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility, and incontinence care. You will also maintain proper care records, report changes in residents’ conditions, and interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public. The position is full time at Cypress Place in Ventura, California, with a stated PM schedule designation. Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successfully complete training as required by State regulations.
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Ability to work responsibly as a team member and independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
- Must be honest, fair, dependable, and respectful of confidentiality and others’ rights and privacy.
- Must meet all health requirements and pass a background check.
