About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Rock Creek in Ankeny, IA. This part-time role focuses on providing empathetic care and creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who are proactive in assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The ideal candidate will be "Advocate of Empathy," a "Generous Gift Giver," "đź’Ż," an "Engaged Egghead," and "Proactive." This position offers a starting wage of $18 per hour.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
