About The Position

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a part-time Care Partner for its Memory Care community. Care Partners provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents, helping with activities of daily living while supporting comfort, safety, well-being, independence, privacy, and dignity. They work as part of a team to create a supportive and nurturing environment. The schedule is 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Pay is $19.50–$21.50 per hour. Cogir Senior Living describes itself as a senior living company based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with communities across 11 states.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current caregiver training or certification as required by the state (such as CNA, GNA, PCA, or DCA), or willingness and ability to obtain it.
Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain them.
At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with memory care; it is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, as needed, while following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
Support residents’ independence and emotional well-being through compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
Encourage and assist residents to participate in life enrichment activities.
Perform light housekeeping, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
