About The Position

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in a memory care community. The role supports residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and protecting their comfort, safety, privacy, and dignity. Care Partners work as part of a team to foster a supportive and nurturing environment. The position is full time, with a 7 a.m.–3 p.m. schedule. Weekend rotation is required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current caregiver training or certification as required by state regulations (such as CNA, GNA, PCA, or DCA), or willingness and ability to obtain it.
Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain it.
At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring as needed, following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
Promote residents’ independence and provide emotional support, compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
Encourage and assist residents in participating in life enrichment activities.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
