Care Partner - Memory Care

About The Position

Care Partners provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in a memory care community. They assist with activities of daily living while supporting residents’ comfort, safety, well-being, independence, privacy, and dignity. Care Partners work as part of a team to foster a supportive and nurturing environment. The position is offered as full-time or part-time, with a stated salary range of $18–$19. The role requires participation in a weekend rotation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current caregiver training or certification as required by the state (such as CNA, GNA, PCA, or DCA), or willingness and ability to obtain it.
Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain them.
At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
Willingness to participate in a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, as needed, while following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
Provide compassionate care, engagement, companionship, emotional support, and encouragement of resident independence.
Encourage and assist residents in participating in life enrichment activity programs.
Perform light housekeeping, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
