About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at University Living in Ann Arbor, MI. This part-time role involves creating human connections with residents, assisting them with daily living activities, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. We are looking for individuals who are empathetic, reliable, engaged in their personal growth, and proactive in resident care. The position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic computer skills. Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Be present and share talents, being someone others can count on.
  • Create an inclusive and positive environment by investing with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
  • Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
