Care Partner 7pm-7am $18-23.75 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to join our team at Vitalia Highland Heights. This part-time role involves providing direct care and creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with activities of daily living. The ideal candidate will be at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have strong English communication skills, a positive attitude, basic computer skills, and the physical ability to perform the job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting residents with mobility. A criminal background check is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Invest with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
- Be curious and ask questions to find out information.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
