About The Position

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in a memory care community. The role supports residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence, comfort, safety, privacy, and dignity. Care Partners work as part of a team to help create a supportive and nurturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current caregiver training or certification as required by the state, such as CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA, or willingness and ability to obtain it.
Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain them.
At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and other activities of daily living, following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
Provide compassionate care, engagement, companionship, and emotional support while prioritizing residents’ independence.
Encourage and assist residents with participation in life enrichment activity programs.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
