About The Position

TerraBella Senior Living is hiring Care Givers for its assisted living community. The role provides hands-on care and physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe, comfortable, home-like environment. Care Givers help residents with activities of daily living, promote independence, dignity, and physical safety, and engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities. The position also includes maintaining cleanliness in resident rooms and work areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must be able to work rotating weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting their dignity and physical safety.
• Participate in and assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating, as instructed.
• Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
