Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience, including behavioral health
  • 2–3 years of supervisory experience managing staff (required)
  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
  • CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Strong knowledge of mental illness and chronic physical health conditions in individuals with serious mental illness
  • Working knowledge of substance abuse issues and recovery principles
  • Understanding of mental health and substance abuse laws and regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings/weekends/holidays) and travel between multiple locations

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Counseling or another Mental health-related field preferred.
  • LSW or LPC preferred

Responsibilities

  • Hire, supervise, evaluate, discipline, and schedule assigned staff in accordance with licensure and agency policy
  • Oversee clinical operations, treatment planning, care coordination, documentation, and service delivery
  • Monitor productivity, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance (OMAS, Joint Commission), and program budgets
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve program policies, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide direct care coordination, case management, and nursing services within scope of practice as needed
  • Maintain communication with physicians, referral sources, community partners, and agency leadership
  • Ensure staff training, licensure compliance, confidentiality, and adherence to clinical guidelines
