With a competitive pay range of $39.20-$49.00 an hour, your expertise and dedication will be rewarded. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with cancer patients in a clinical environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, EMR, Practice Management, and Lab Information Systems.
  • Valid Registered Nurse license in Minnesota.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and empathetic listening abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Play a vital role in collaboration with the Advanced Prostate Cancer (APC) Care team to enhance our APC program.
  • Facilitate and coordinate patient navigation through the APC Care Pathway, acting as an advocate, educator, and primary contact for patients involved in the program.
  • Assist APC Physician/Provider Champions in developing and maintaining policies, protocols, and materials specific to prostate cancer care.
  • Plan and coordinate treatments across all UA Division cancer programs, including bladder, kidney, and prostate, while administering specialty oncology treatments.
  • Manage IV access, evaluate medication side effects during nursing visits, and coordinate necessary consultations with specialty physicians and external care teams.
  • Ensure high-quality care and seamless communication for our patients in their healthcare journey.
