Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience working with cancer patients in a clinical environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, EMR, Practice Management, and Lab Information Systems.
Valid Registered Nurse license in Minnesota.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal communication and empathetic listening abilities.

Responsibilities

Play a vital role in collaboration with the Advanced Prostate Cancer (APC) Care team to enhance our APC program.
Facilitate and coordinate patient navigation through the APC Care Pathway, acting as an advocate, educator, and primary contact for patients involved in the program.
Assist APC Physician/Provider Champions in developing and maintaining policies, protocols, and materials specific to prostate cancer care.
Plan and coordinate treatments across all UA Division cancer programs, including bladder, kidney, and prostate, while administering specialty oncology treatments.
Manage IV access, evaluate medication side effects during nursing visits, and coordinate necessary consultations with specialty physicians and external care teams.
Ensure high-quality care and seamless communication for our patients in their healthcare journey.
