As a Casual Care Coordinator- Registered Nurse at Minnesota Urology, you will play a vital role in collaboration with the Advanced Prostate Cancer (APC) Care team to enhance our APC program. You will facilitate and coordinate patient navigation through the APC Care Pathway, acting as an advocate, educator, and primary contact for patients involved in the program. In this position, you will assist APC Physician/Provider Champions in developing and maintaining policies, protocols, and materials specific to prostate cancer care. You'll plan and coordinate treatments across all UA Division cancer programs, including bladder, kidney, and prostate, while administering specialty oncology treatments. Your responsibilities will also include managing IV access, evaluating medication side effects during nursing visits, and coordinating necessary consultations with specialty physicians and external care teams. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality care and seamless communication for our patients in their healthcare journey.
