JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Care Coordinator III, Young Adult Court Employment Classification: Full Time/Non-Exempt Shift: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM with some flexibility for evening workshops. Reports to: Young Adult Court Supervisor Department: Programs Program Summary: The Young Adult Court Program (YAC) works in collaboration with University of California Irvine, Orangewood Foundation, the District Attorney’s Office, Defense Attorney’s Office, and The Orange County Superior Court. The YAC program provides engagement, assessment, care coordination and resource coordination support to Transitional Age Youth (ages 18-25) as part of a collaborative research study to reduce recidivism. Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Young Adult Court Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will utilize a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and employ motivational interviewing techniques to work alongside participants in the Young Adult Court program. This program, which spans 18-24 months, is designed to support young adults through a highly collaborative approach that includes Four stages of support: Engagement, Accountability, Stability & Sustainability, and Attainment.
