Care Assistant (12 hours night re-ablement)
About The Position
Cera is hiring a Care Assistant in Fife to support people returning home after hospitalisation for surgery or illness. The role is part of a re-ablement service that helps people recover at home, leave hospital sooner, and reduces pressure on the NHS. Care Assistants provide practical support and companionship, helping clients feel safe and reassured while they regain independence. Cera uses technology, including predictive tools and risk alerts, to support informed decisions and help reduce hospitalisations and fall risks. Shifts are 9pm–9am, with block pay, and some weekend work is required. The role requires a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work. Previous care experience is required. The position is subject to a DBS check, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including continence support, washing, and dressing.
- Support clients with managing medications.
- Cook or prepare hot meals.
- Help with domestic tasks.
- Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support.
