About The Position
Benedictine is a non-profit senior care organization founded by the sisters of St. Scholastica and guided by the values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice. The Care Assistant supports residents’ safety and well-being through positive communication and interaction with residents, families, and other team members. The role provides resident care, reports information to clinical team members, and performs or assists with general care and services as outlined in resident care plans.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must be able to observe and report resident status and implement care plans.
- BLS Certification.
- Active Illinois CNA certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident care and report to clinical team members.
- Perform and/or assist with general care and services for residents as outlined in care plans.
- Maintain positive communication and interaction with residents, families, and other team members to support resident safety and well-being.
- Observe and report resident status and implement care plans.
