About The Position

Make a Difference with Home Instead Kirklees. We are looking for caring, reliable people to join our team. You don’t need previous care experience, just a kind nature, patience and a willingness to help others. We’ll provide the training and support you need. Our visits are a minimum of one hour, so there’s no rushing from one client to the next. You’ll have time to get to know the people you care for and build real relationships. We have flexible hours and different shift patterns available to suit you. We cover: Skelmanthorpe, Huddersfield, Honley, Holmfirth, Golcar, Lindley, Kirkheaton & Midgley. Requirements

• Caring, reliable people who enjoy helping others
• A kind nature, patience and a willingness to help others
• A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
• Must already have the right to work in the UK

Nice To Haves

• Previous care experience is great, but it’s not essential

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and a friendly face
• Preparing meals and helping around the home
• Supporting shopping and appointments
• Helping with hobbies and days out
• Assisting with personal care
• Supporting with medication
• Help people stay independent and enjoy life at home
