About The Position
Cera are recruiting Care Assistants for our Extra Care service in Heysham Gardens, Carlisle. This role involves supporting residents in their own self-contained living spaces within a larger building, with care staff based within the unit. As a care assistant, you will support residents with varying needs to live as independently as possible, following personalised care and support plans. Tasks may include assisting with housework, helping residents get up in the morning, providing meals, offering a listening ear, assisting with medication, and helping with personal care. The role emphasizes providing human company, encouragement, and companionship.
